Shipping Protection Policy
At Clearly Loved Pets, we know how important it is that your order arrives safely. While rare, packages can sometimes be lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. To give you extra peace of mind, we offer optional Shipping Protection at checkout.
How It Works
For a small fee, you can add Shipping Protection to your order at checkout.
If your protected order is lost, damaged, or stolen during transit, we will replace it or refund you quickly.
If you choose not to add Shipping Protection, your order will still ship normally, and we will help file a claim with the carrier if issues occur. However, if the carrier denies the claim, we cannot guarantee a free replacement or refund.
What It Covers
Loss of your package in transit.
Damage sustained during delivery (even if not noticed until the box is opened). We may replace the full item or provide replacement parts as needed.
Orders marked as “delivered” but not received (package theft, carrier misdelivery).
What It Does Not Cover
Incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout.
Packages delivered to freight forwarders or reshippers.
Delays in transit (covered only if the package is lost, not if it is late).
Issues that occur after confirmed safe delivery, such as normal wear and tear, misuse, or pet damage.
Filing a Claim
If your protected order experiences a problem:

Contact our support team within 7 days of the carrier’s delivery scan or expected delivery date.

Provide your order number and any relevant tracking or photos (for damaged items).

We’ll process your replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
Refunds and Returns
Shipping Protection is a service that covers your order during transit against loss, theft, or damage. Once your package has been safely delivered, the protection has been fulfilled and is non-refundable, even if you return the product itself.
If your order is canceled before shipping, the Shipping Protection fee will be refunded.
Important Notes
Shipping Protection is provided directly by Clearly Loved Pets. It is not an insurance policy and is not backed by an insurance company.
Coverage applies only to the original shipment address entered at checkout.
Protection cannot be transferred to re-shipments or address changes after the order is placed.
